By The Oregonian

November 05, 2009, 4:00AM
A recent collection drive at Human Bean espresso drive-through locations in Beaverton, Cornelius, Hillsboro and Canby raised nearly $7,000 for breast cancer programs at area hospitals.

The proceeds from beverage and pastry sales on Oct. 23 were donated to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, Tuality Healthcare and Willamette Falls Community Health Center in Canby.

Human Bean, based in Medford, raised more than $73,000 total from all its locations to assist women with mammograms, treatments and follow-up care to breast cancer patients.
